Bar-B-Cutie SmokeHouse makes airport debut at Nashville International

USA. Bar-B-Cutie SmokeHouse has opened its first outlet in a travel environment at Nashville International Airport. The family-owned brand – who claims to be Nashville’s oldest original BBQ restaurant with a history spanning seven decades – has opened in an 835 sq ft space in the A/B North Terminal.

The staple of the Bar-B-Cutie SmokeHouse offer is juicy smoked meats prepared on-site by a skilled pit master, served with country sides.

The menu’s varied options include local favorite ‘The Baron’, an extra-large two-meat sandwich packed with pork, sausage, jalapeno cheese and onion rings.

The dessert menu includes the Smoke ‘N’ Sweet Premium GooGoo Candy’, a sweet banana, hot caramel chocolate confection.

A portion of every sale from the special dessert benefits the charities Angel Flight Mid-Atlantic and Mercy Medical Angels to help patients with medical transportation needs.

Local brews on tap include Low and Slow IPA beer from Nashville’s Mill Creek Brewery.

The Bar-B-Cutie SmokeHouse store decor features the local hickory wood that the restaurant uses to smoke its meats.

Bar-B-Cutie SmokeHouse Operating Partner Melanie Lopez said: “The has been an exciting, woman-owned, hands-on project that we continue to put our hearts into. Our goal is to delight travellers.

“Our delicious food is what has kept Bar-B-Cutie a Nashville favourite for over 70 years. Our high-energy friendly team is eager to serve the best Nashville hospitality around.”

She added: “We want to wow our guests, so they walk away remembering their outstanding Bar-B-Cutie SmokeHouse experience at BNA and come back for more”

Fraport Tennessee Vice President Matt Jennings said “It is an honour to welcome this celebrated family business to BNA. Bar-B-Cutie has been a regular stop for world-class BBQ for generations.

“Now travellers get to enjoy their very own taste of Bar-B-Cutie’s legendary hickory smked meats, bold flavours, and all the extras right at the airport.”
